Alan Sosa
Executive Chef
Chef Alan Sosa is a proud Southside Chicago native. Growing up, Alan showed a flair for cooking and became one of the youngest students accepted into his prestigious Youth Culinary Program. While still in High School, Alan began work alongside Stephen Gillanders (Jean-Georges, S.K.Y.) during his residency at Intro Chicago. Chef Sosa went on to open S.K.Y. with Gillanders. Alan counts Chef Chris Pandel, Ryan McCaskey(Maine), and Fabio Viviani among the Culinary artists he has trained with. Prior to EG, Alan worked for Chicago hospitality supernovas Boka Group, and Lettuce Entertain You. Alan joins Electric Garden as Executive Chef this April. EG is thrilled to have Chef Sosa's vision behind its menu and can't wait to see what he brings to the table!

He calls the shots when it comes to the menu and has personally made recommendations on his favorite dishes. So when you come in make sure you say "hi" to him or else he may not invite you back!
